1. Centrifugal pump
Working principle: The impeller rotates to generate centrifugal force to throw out water. Features Large flow rate (1-1000m³/h), medium head (10-100 meters), simple structure, easy maintenance. Applicable scenarios: household tap water boosting, farmland irrigation, factory cooling water circulation, note: water must be filled before starting (or select a suction centrifugal pump)
2. Submersible pump
Working mode: The whole machine is submerged in water to work. Advantages: No need to divert water, anti-clogging design.
3. Self-priming pump
Core skills: After the first filling, the subsequent water is automatically sucked. Advantages: No repeated filling (upgraded version of centrifugal pump) with large suction. Application scenarios: Pumping river water to irrigate vegetable gardens, temporarily pumping out water from construction sites, and unloading oil from tankers.
4. Plunger pump
Working principle: The piston reciprocates to squeeze out water. Features: Ultra-high pressure (10-500 MPa), low flow and high head. Typical uses: high pressure cleaning machine, hydraulic system power source, pure water equipment booster.
Summary:
Centrifugal pumps or self-priming pumps are selected for daily household use, deep well submersible pumps are used for pumping well water, sewage submersible pumps are required for sewage discharge, plunger pumps are used for high pressure flushing, and diesel pumps are used in non-electric environments.
